Yale University - Historic handles for new residential campus'

When Yale’s new residential colleges (Benjamin Franklin College and Pauli Murray College) were planned, it was integral that the windows and fittings suited with the iconic collegiate gothic style synonymous with Yale’s older buildings.

Along with aesthetics, reliability and environmental impact were also important to consider for the 4000 windows within the colleges. Crittall constructed steel windows to match Yale’s needs as well as specially constructed cold form steel entrance doors.

To suite with the quintessential windows, Steel Window Fittings supplied their classic BP1040 handles in a dark, rich, warm toned finish with a gentle lustre (Dark Patina).
